Hi, I’m Billie-Rae, a professional freelance makeup artist with over 10 years of experience, specialising in bridal and occasion makeup.

I’m passionate about creating a calm, confidence-boosting experience for every client. With a background in fashion, film, and over 6 years as a MAC Pro Artist, I’ve worked with all skin tones, styles, and events – from weddings to major brand campaigns. My goal is simple: to make you feel beautiful, relaxed, and ready for your big moment.

BOOKING & SECURE

Once you’re happy to go ahead, I will ask for a £85 booking deposit which secures your wedding date & time. This is then deducted from the final payment.

YOUR BRIDAL TRIAL

We shall book in your trial within 4-8 weeks prior to your wedding date where we will together create your tailored look. This is included in your package.

ITS YOUR BIG DAY

A timesheet will be sent before adding structure to your morning. I shall arrive as pre-agreed and be with you until the very end for any finishing touches before your ceremony.

FAQ

  • Yes, I offer bridal trials where we’ll test and perfect your full look. Trials are typically done 2–3 months before the wedding, but can be scheduled earlier if needed.

  • It's best to book your wedding makeup artist 6–12 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season (May–September). Dates can fill up quickly!

  • Bridal makeup usually takes around 1 to 1.5 hours. Bridesmaids and others take about 45 minutes each. I’ll create a schedule to keep the morning calm and stress-free.

  • Absolutely. I offer makeup for events like parties, proms, and photoshoots. You can book through the Occasion Makeup form.

  • Yes, I do travel for bookings! For occasion makeup appointments outside of my home studio, a minimum of 3 people is required for me to travel. A travel fee will also apply, depending on the location. Please note this is clearly outlined on the Occasion Booking Form.

  • That’s fine! My style is soft, natural, and tailored to your comfort level. We’ll create a look that enhances your features and still feels like you.

  • Yes! I offer personal 1:1 lessons for everyday makeup and professional training for aspiring makeup artists. See the Workshops page for more.

  • To book, simply fill out the bridal or occasion form. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date. You’ll receive confirmation by email.
